I can see this series turning out to be very promising. There was no reason for me to dislike this book, it just never grabbed me. I wasn't ever invested in the two main characters, and their romance was not very believable. They basically profess their undying devotion waaay to quickly. And there was no compelling reason for them to be so drawn to one another. I need a bit more 'getting to know you' time, or at least more interaction between my H/h before they fall madly in love. I'm all for love at first sight, or love in a few days, or passion in a few minutes, even. But for this deep, forever kind of emotion, I need there to be a good reason for the love to be there. I DID really like Viper, and I'm assuming that he will star in an upcoming installment. Dante just bored me a little. I'm giving this three stars, because the action was pretty nonstop, and I can totally see where this series is headed.
