Destined for a Vampire (Blood Like Poison, #2) - M. Leighton This was a much better read than the first book, even though the first one was good. Destined for a Vampire was just a lot more...well, everything. More passionate, more brutal, more emotional, and a lot more involved with other characters. It almost bordered on horror for me at times, and since I was reading it at night, I made sure to have plenty of lights on. Of course, you learn a lot more about Bo and just what his involvement is in the whole vampire world. Ridley and Bo's relationship becomes much more real, instead of just a teenage gushfest. It's not a happy happy world in this series, and I'm so glad that the twists and turns keep coming. People that you think are good really aren't, and their true natures come out with some terrible consequences. Fabulous take on the vampire theme, and I'm so excited to read the conclusion to this story!
