Well, this was was soo much better than the first. There were a couple of uncomfortable moments for me. The exhibitionism took it a bit far for my comfort level, but what did I expect, right?! Master Dan is a real person, with a real life. His wife died three years ago, and since then, there has been no one in his life for more than a day. It seems as if he's so well liked among the other masters. Someone always has his back. When he meets Kari and is set as her Dom for the night, he is at first intrigued. She's extremely shy and sugary sweet, not the usual type to walk in the door of Shadowlands. Its that sweetness and honesty and character that keep him thinking of her. Then he starts feeling a mite possessive of his little 'one night sub.' I enjoyed the story. There was a bit more depth to this H/h that I wish could have been given to Master Z in his first book. I have a feeling he could have been an amazing guy had he been a bit more fleshed out.
