Cowgirl Up and Ride: Rough Riders, Book 3: Rough Riders Series, Book 3

Cowgirl Up and Ride - Lorelei James Took me awhile to warm up to this book. It starts out as just a bunch of sex. Which is fine, because that's what I expected. But then we start to get a little more familiar with the McKay clan, not to mention the relationship between AJ and Cord. Their sexual relationship is hot, despite the fact that AJ is a virgin when the book starts. Which is one of the things that makes this book a bit unbelievable. She gets awfully adventurous for a virgin. Though Cord really is a sweetheart. And I know, I know, it's not supposed to be real. I just felt like the emotion that was supposed to be in the book seemed really forced and...unfinished. I guess I would say that you just have to be in the right state of mind. It's a real honky-tonk hokey cowboy erotica. It didn't quite have the shock factor that the first one did (for me, anyways.) Still entertaining, as long as you're not expecting emotional eroticism. Oh, and I will say that the McKay clan is growing on me, especially after this book. Strong family ties, and that part actually did seem believable.
