I almost gave this 3 stars, but the last couple of chapters were amazing! I don't want to give away too much, but I got sooo emotional! Not many paranormal romance books touch me like this one did. The first part of the book was sort of meh. It just didn't seem to have much direction, and although I think Ms Singh has a tendency to bounce around a lot in her books, this one was almost confusing. I mean, who wants a hot love scene interrupted by some Psy council meeting? Not me! I didn't even like the hero until the very end. But then, oh my goodness! He broke my heart! (In a good way!) In the end, I think this one is worth reading if nothing else than for the last 50 or so pages. And it reveals a lot about the Forgotten, and opens up a whole new avenue for this series to take.
