Shelly Laurenston is my hero! I swear, every book I've read of hers just keeps me laughing and marking quotes to laugh over later. If you've never read one of her books, just read ONE! You'll soon devour the rest. I thought this series was more romance/erotica, and it is. But it's so much more. There's always a great plot, lots of action, tons and tons of humor, and I've never really laughed so much during a sexy scene. Don't get me wrong, she can write some hot and steamy love scenes. These men that are in Ms. Laurenston's head are just yummy. Smitty is the epitome of a Smith Alpha Male. But he's always had a soft spot for Jessie, ever since they were teenagers. He tried to treat her like he thought she'd want to be treated, nice and sweet. And I think like a lot of women out there, Jessie doesn't want sweet. She wants to know that she can make him lose control. Boy, this book is full of goodies! You just want to smack him upside the head and latch on to him at the same time. Go, Smitty!
